As my presentation above, we can easily see what they wanted to persuade us: their chocolate is so good. The woman didn’t close her eyes to do anything but she closed her eyes with a happy smile on her face because of a tasty chocolate. That led everyone thought about how tasty their chocolate is. And all the people who watched this commercial will be wondering and want to try it.
Basically what they used for the commercial is Logos and some Pathos. The Logos(appeal to reason) part was when she ate the chocolate she closed her eyes and just forgot she was keeping eyes opened for the World record, because the chocolate is so good. That really make sense, and has a great effect for the audience. Some parts of that commercial showed Pathos(appeal to emotion), where the people in the commercial who were so frustrated about her eyes were blinking.
I didn’t really buy the chocolate yet because I just saw the commercial 30 minutes ago. That commercial was really attractive for me, especially for the people who really likes chocolate. I was thinking that if i see their chocolate in the grocery store, i must buy and try it.
I feel like a lot of people are convinced by this commercial that the chocolate must be good because it is portrayed as indulgent and worth giving up a World Record for.
