There is a news about a 4-year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the zoo, and after being dragged around by the 400-pound gorilla for 10 minutes, the zoo made the decision to shoot and kill the gorilla ( Courtney Perry ). After seeing this news and people's reactions, Courtney Perry wrote an article about it. A lot of people think the zookeepers made a wrong decision, which they should not have killed the gorilla. Because they think they that the gorilla did not do anything wrong, the mom who did not take good care of her own child deserved everything. Today during chapel, Jeremiah gave a speech was trying to persuade us that we should know our tongue is extremely important because it represents our heart. He used the verses in James 3:6 to convince us what he had said. The speaker was also trying to persuade us to learn to control our tongue, to say something which will encourage someone but not frustrate someone. He said that our tongue is a tool can be used either good way or bad way, it all depends on how we are gonna use it. I saw the rhetoric used from a chocolate commercial. In the beginning of the commercial, there was a woman who was sleeping but she didn’t close her eyes. When the alarm clock rang, she woke up with the opened eyes. She did everything with her eyes opened including washing her face, sneeze,got hit by a soccer ball, etc. In order to create a new world record by no blinking eyes. A lot of people was really pay attention to her acting and if she blink her eyes. After 23 hours, she was almost there. They were counting down for the new World Record, however, she ate a kind of chocolate, and it was so tasty that she closed her eyes unconsciously. Everyone was so surprised and frustrated that the reason of why she didn’t succeed is because of a chocolate.
